Cancellation and Refund Policy
We at Farepals are aware that unanticipated events can cause travel plans to change at any time. We have created a simple and user-friendly cancellation and refund policy to ensure that this procedure runs as smoothly as possible.
Before scheduling any service with us, we strongly advise all clients to thoroughly read the terms listed below. We advise against using our website or making a transaction if you disagree with any aspect of our cancellation and refund policy.
Cancellation Policy
When you need to cancel your reservation, we want to make sure it's as easy as possible for you. Please be aware that the airline's laws and regulations are in line with our cancellation policies. It is advisable that you review the airline's cancellation policy prior to finalizing your reservation.
The following are important things to remember:
- The base rates and booking service costs for airline tickets are often non-refundable.
- The cancellation procedures and associated costs of each airline apply to all cancellations.
- Requests for cancellations must be made by calling our customer service department directly. We won't accept requests made through the website, chat, or email.
- At the time of booking, certain airlines provide a flexible cancellation option known as “Zero-Cancellation.” You can be eligible for a longer refund window, usually until a few hours prior to the flight's departure, if you paid an additional cost during the booking process.
- The airline's policy and any service fees that Farepals may have incurred will determine the ultimate amount that is reimbursed, if any.
Refund Policy
Our goal is to handle qualified returns in a timely and open manner. As a result, kindly confirm that the airline's decision on reimbursements is final and that our refund procedure closely adheres to their policies.
Please take note of the following details about refunds:
- Subject to airline permission, cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation may qualify for a reimbursement.
- Unless the airline specifies otherwise, cancellations made after 24 hours of booking are often non-refundable.
- Refunds are typically not available for “no-show” reservations, which occur when a traveler fails to board without canceling beforehand. The airline will decide whether to make any exceptions.
- The original payment method used at the time of purchase will be credited with the refund.
- Refunds for payments made with debit/credit cards or net banking will be credited to the original card or bank account.
- If authorized, the refund will be issued via check in situations where payment was made using other means.
- The cheque will be issued in the name of the Farepals account holder if several reservations booked under the same user account are canceled.
